About AIV
In 1987, AIV, formerly Queensland Independent Vendors (QIV), commenced operations in Brisbane.
Founder Roland West began the business with one truck, distributing orange juice and smallgoods. It is during this time he developed the philosophy held by AIV today:
In 1999, AIV became part of Bidfood Australia. This move allowed vendors to access the most comprehensive range of dry, chilled, frozen and non-food products in the foodservice industry.
From humble beginnings, AIV has grown to over 30 business units across the country, providing their growing customer base with the products they require to run their businesses.
